The high-Haus building is located at the edge of Condesa district in central Mexico
City. The site goes side to side from the main street to a secondary road. The main entrance is on the local street whereas the opposite side is blocked by a solid wall. In higher levels, views on to Chapultepec park cal for openings and balconies. As opposed to pillars&slabs structures, the building is a walls&slabs system in which components are structurally indispensable and form the actual finishing of the entire block. This establishes a massive code where exposed concrete poured "in situ" forms a textured background where balconies and a variety of openings mark a syncopated visual progression.
