broadcasting pavillion / grupo imagen

live radio and tv news generated by the general election in 2000, had to be broadcast from the site where the national committee counted the votes. the project is temporary structure that was installed in the plaza of the public buildings.
the skeleton is made of steel profiles mounted overnight. the skin is a pvc canvas customed in three pieces. the fist roof is a series of transparent plastic domes almost invisible from inside. the upper floating "lamp-roof" is a double canvas tensed from a perimeter steel frame. the same structure with a different canvas skin was recycled as a broadcasting pavilion in other venues organized by same broadcasting firm.
