The acces node in jvc center is designed as a landmark within the fabric of the city of guadalajara. The jvc master plan is self contained and does not compromise whith the city structure. Architecture of the center is unique and distinctive.
the node connects the main guadalajara highway with the inner jvc ring where the main buildings are located. The node is configured as a transitional space that signals the entrance to the center. The access is a threshold that filters time while entering into a modern environment. it is a connection and a door: as a connection, it is related to certain "natural connector maps", like neuron tissue; as a door, its is configured as a typical arc. when both concepts are together the result is a three dimensional wire frame that forms an extra large virtual building.
